Relationship to other texts. Not attributed to Paracelsus, but allegedly excerpts and quotations from Paracelsus; these excerpts are otherwise unknown. There are, however, ideas and concepts that are present also in other pseudo-Paracelsian texts. – Von der Materia lapidis philosophorum inspired the German writer Joachim Veil (born 1950) who used part of the text in his Die Wiederkehr des Bumerangs.
