Die andern zwey Consilia hatt Theophrastus Paracelsus an dem Edlen vnnd Ehrnueste{{EditAbbr|n}} Herrn Franciscum Bonerum{{Index|Name|Franz Boner}} einen Polnischen Herrn zu Crocaw{{Index|Place|Krakau}} geschrieben/ welcher dazumal aller gelehrten {{Pagemark|sig|D5v}} Leüt{{Apparatus|Corr|Leüt|Le&umacr;t}} Mecenas vnd Patronus gewesen ist/ darauß zuuernemmen/ in was ansehen bey grossen Leüten zu der selbigen zeit Theophrastus gewesen/ dieweyl jn{{Apparatus|Corr|jn|in}} gemelter her vber so ein weiten Weg consulieren wöllen.

Note.

Theophrastus has given this advice to Adam Reißner from Mindelheim in the year 1535. At that time, he was the town clerk, and it was told to him that if he were to use these two mentioned pieces as instructed, he would not need to seek advice from a doctor in a year's time.

Since then, Mr. Reißner (as he told me in Memmingen a few years ago when he gave me a copy of this advice) had been sick all the time and burdened with ailments. After he started using the mentioned pieces, he remained healthy up to this hour when I am writing this, has lived beyond his seventieth year, and is still alive. I could not help but mention this here so that this advice is not dismissed and disregarded.

The other two pieces of advice were written by Theophrastus Paracelsus to the noble and honorable Lord Franciscus Boner, a Polish lord in Krakow, who at that time was the patron and supporter of all learned people. This shows the esteem in which Theophrastus was held by important people at that time, as the mentioned lord wanted to consult him over such a long distance.
