If anyone should perhaps doubt that this Anatomy is the invention of our teacher Theophrastus Paracelsus, let them read what he wrote in his booklet on the dual anatomy, and then judge whether it is fair to deprive authors and inventors of good arts of their labors and honors. In the meantime, however, it will not be too much trouble to add some of his own authorities from this booklet, so that it may be seen from what quiver this arrow has been shot.
