| Paulus1994=370-371$Beerdigt Anfang Dezember 1615 in Fürth. </br> Mylius heiratete zu Beginn des Jahres 1600 die Tochter des Nürnberger Künstlers Friedrich Hilbrant und wohnte in Fürth, wo er als Arzt tätig war. Im Sterbebuch der Pfarrei Fürth St. Michael hielt man fest, daß er als „ein exul und calvinista“ bekannt war. </br> Vom Januar 1606 datiert ein „Arcanum“, vom dem es heißt: „H[err] Samuel Mylius Medicus betheuret mit hohen schwern, Kayser Rudolff habe [es] mit seiner eigen hanndt laborirt, auch seine laboranten den N: Franckhen von Franckenhaussen, vilmals laborirn lassen, vnd allmal gerecht erfunden“.
