<b>Authenticity, authorship.</b> Not authentic according to Sudhoff: “The [biblical] text is always given in Luther’s German translation, which already speaks against Paracelsus as the author.” This is further supported by Goldammer: “The eschatology presented here is unparacelsian in this sharpness; the actualistic genuine interpretation of the verse in the commentary on Psalms proceeds quite differently.” – Based on a sentence in this text (“Gott wirt auch ein Neapolin dz ist ein Neustatt bauen vnd Halberstatt einreißen”), Winfried Zeller identified the printing place “Newstatt”, where several Paracelsian and Weigelian texts were issued, as a “Paracelsistic <i>deckname</i> for Magdeburg”.
